Discover how a multi-generational, family-owned repair shop in Sacramento simplified job tracking, reduced administrative friction, and built operational clarity with Torque360.

Universal Auto Repair has been part of Sacramento’s automotive community for over two decades. In 2016, Ahmad Nazar took over the family-run shop, continuing a legacy rooted in generations of auto repair experience.
For Ahmad, the business represents more than daily operations. It reflects a family tradition built on honest work, fair pricing, and treating customers like neighbors. Whether handling tire services or major engine repairs, maintaining trust and consistency has always been central to the shop’s identity.
As customer demand steadily increased, Universal Auto Repair entered a growth phase that required a stronger operational structure. With more vehicles in progress and more moving parts behind the scenes, maintaining control across job tracking, approvals, and documentation became increasingly complex.
Fixing vehicles was never the issue. The challenge was managing everything surrounding the repair process.
As the shop grew, tracking job orders manually began creating friction. On busy days, it became difficult to immediately see which jobs were in progress, which customers had approved work, and which invoices had been issued. Administrative tasks started consuming time that could otherwise be spent overseeing repairs or supporting customers.
Switching between paperwork, different tools, and fragmented processes slowed daily workflow. Without centralized visibility, even small coordination gaps could create unnecessary delays or confusion.
As volume increased, Ahmad recognized that while the team was delivering quality work, the operational system supporting that work was not keeping pace. Maintaining order, clarity, and professionalism required a more structured approach.

Customer Quote
“Fixing cars is the easy part. Managing everything else used to be the headache. I’d lose track of which job was in progress or who approved what. Now, I can track every job from start to finish, and everything is in one place. It’s like having an extra person in the shop handling it for me.”
